The controller is a natural person operating the family kennel under the name Aria Ranch Rottweilers, Zakriž 43, 5282 Cerkno, Slovenija.

There is no registered company (sole trader / limited company) — this is a private kennel activity with an informational website.

2. Data we process

• Contact form: name, email, message content, locale, submission time.
• User account: first/last name, email, hashed password, country (if provided), language preferences, email verification.
• Puppy interest / chat: messages linked to your account and puppy.
• Litter alerts: email, selected litters, event types, unsubscribe token.
• Treat inquiries: selected products, message, account.
• Technical data: necessary session/security cookies; server logs (IP, time, browser) for security where applicable.
• Analytics (consent only): Google Analytics 4 (e.g. _ga cookies).
• Embedded media (consent only): YouTube when videos are played.

3. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)

• Responding to inquiries — Art. 6(1)(b) and/or 6(1)(f).
• Account, login, security — Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f).
• Litter alerts — Art. 6(1)(b)/(f); unsubscribe anytime.
• Abuse prevention (Cloudflare Turnstile, honeypot, rate limits) — Art. 6(1)(f).
• Analytics and YouTube — Art. 6(1)(a) (consent); change anytime.
• Legal obligations where they arise — Art. 6(1)(c).

4. Translation and AI

To help us understand messages across languages, message content may be translated server-side via Google Gemini. Messages are sent to Google for that purpose. This is operational support, not advertising profiling.

5. Recipients / processors

• Hosting and email providers (technical processing).
• Google — Analytics (if consented), Gemini (translations), YouTube (if consented/played).
• Cloudflare — Turnstile (form protection).

We do not sell personal data.

6. Transfers outside the EEA

Using Google / Cloudflare may involve transfers to the USA or other countries under their applicable safeguards (e.g. SCCs / EU–US frameworks). See their privacy policies for details.

7. Retention

• Contact messages: typically 24 months after last contact (or until erasure request).
• Account: until you delete it; related data is removed subject to legal retention needs.
• Litter alerts: until unsubscribe or account deletion.
• Puppy inquiries/chat: typically 24 months after last message.
• Treat inquiries: typically 24 months after closing.
• Server logs: typically up to 90 days.

8. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability (where applicable) and objection (for Art. 6(1)(f)). You may withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing.

You may lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner (IP): www.ip-rs.si.

9. Cookies

10. Children
